Terms and Conditions

Article 1 - Definitions.

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions shall apply:

  • Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person offering products and/or services to consumers at a distance.
  • Client: The natural or legal person who enters into an agreement with the entrepreneur.
  • Agreement: A distance contract involving the provision of products and/or services.
  • Right of Withdrawal: the possibility for the customer to waive the distance contract within the cooling-off period.

Article 2 - Applicability.

These general terms and conditions apply to any offer made by the entrepreneur and any distance contract concluded between entrepreneur and customer.

Article 3 - Offers and prices

All prices on the website are in euros, excluding VAT and shipping costs, unless otherwise stated. The entrepreneur reserves the right to change prices. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products offered. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind the entrepreneur.

Article 4 - Order and payment

Upon receipt of your order, a confirmation and the invoice will be sent immediately by e-mail. The minimum order amount is € 25. You can choose to pay afterwards by invoice or directly via iDEAL.

Available payment methods are displayed during the ordering process.

Article 5 - Delivery

Delivery time for most items is 3 business days, with exceptions. At the beginning of the school year and after major vacations, delivery time may increase. Therefore, please order early. We ship for schools on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Delivery will be made to the address provided by the customer. The risk of damage and/or loss of products passes to the customer at the time of delivery. It can also be chosen to be picked up at Spelen Met Chemie.

Article 6 - Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right, within 14 days of receiving the product, to dissolve the agreement without giving reasons. The customer must return the product undamaged, unopened and in its original packaging. The costs of return shipment are to be borne by the customer.

Upon receipt of the returned product, the purchase price will be refunded within 14 days.

Article 7 - Warranty and complaints

The entrepreneur guarantees that the products comply with the agreement and reasonable requirements of soundness. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted to the entrepreneur within 7 days fully and clearly described.

Article 8 - Liability

The entrepreneur's liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the product in question. The entrepreneur is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages or lost profits.

Article 9 - Personal data

The entrepreneur processes personal data of the customer in accordance with the privacy policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please see our privacy policy for more information.

Article 10 - Applicable law

Dutch law applies to all agreements between the entrepreneur and the customer. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district where the entrepreneur is located.
